With the new company connection library in Connection Browser, IDEA StatiCa becomes the solution for ALL steel connections, no matter the complexity. Just make a model and share it with your colleagues in a few clicks. Stop using Excel spreadsheets for connection design forever!
Take advantage of improved modeling options. The new cutting method "Surface – all-around" enables the cutting of the proper opening and welding of the passing member simultaneously.
We have also added a new model type. Design and code-check a compression contact between any base plate and a concrete block without anchors.
In IDEA StatiCa Detail, the software automatically considers the self-weight of a member now.
Save your time with the improved calculation methods. Thanks to the enhanced solver, your calculations in IDEA StatiCa Detail will be up to four times faster than before! You can now calculate beams, walls, frame joints, hangings, and brackets in seconds.
Last but not least, we have improved the BIM links. Connections with RAM Structural System, STRAP, and improved link to Tecla Structural Designer are available now!
