An example of a simple reinforced concrete deep beam supported at both ends via the point supports. The beam is loaded with a point load transferred to the concrete structure via the bearing plate. A large rectangular opening is placed on the left part of the beam in the area near the support. The beam is reinforced with orthogonal and inclined rebars. Modeled and analyzed in the IDEA StatiCa Detail application.
