An example of a prestressed beam with openings involved. The beam model is analyzed in the IDEA StatiCa Detail app. The prestressing tendon is modeled directly in the app. Three models for three stages (Transfer of prestressing, Lifting, and End of design working life) are included. The CSFM method used in the app provides complete code checks including stress limitation, cracks, and deflection.
