Sheeting rails structure

This article is also available in
ENCSDEESFRITPTNLHURO

As a part of a steel or concrete structure, this single segment of the sheeting rails or sheeting girts provides support for the facade sandwich panels or trapezoidal sheets. The beams and columns of this light steel structure are formed by cold-formed C and U sections (CFU).

The thin-walled members are connected by simple cleat connections and the columns are anchored by pinned cleat base plates into the concrete slabs.

The whole structure is designed and analyzed in the IDEA StatiCa Member application.
